WOODROW H. SLIM:
Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Welcome back to FYMF News — the only news platform brave enough to ask the questions America uncomfortable with.
Tonight’s story comes outta Houston, Texas, where attorney John Johnson, age 56, found himself in legal trouble after authorities say surveillance cameras inside the family home captured conduct involving the family dog, “Daisy.”
Now according to reports, contractor work was being done inside the home, and Mrs. Johnson had recently installed surveillance cameras. Court documents say she later reviewed footage and told investigators she was “100% sure” the man shown was her husband and “100% sure” the dog involved was Daisy.
John Johnson was later charged and released on a $75,000 bond.
And tonight…

[Camera cuts to Mrs. Johnson sitting calmly with crossed arms.]
WOODROW H. SLIM:
Ma’am… first off… how you holding up?
MRS. JOHNSON:
Woodrow, I done been embarrassed before. I been married twenty-two years. But THIS right here? This different. You can survive cheating. You can survive lies. But when the dog can’t even make eye contact with you no more? The marriage is over.
WOODROW H. SLIM:
See that’s what I’m talking about. People keep saying “communication is important.” Communication? Ma’am the dog probably somewhere right now needing therapy and emotional support biscuits.
MRS. JOHNSON:
Daisy won’t even sit near him anymore. Every time John walk in the room, the dog suddenly remember he got somewhere else to be.
WOODROW H. SLIM:
That dog looking at him like,
“Sir… we fetched together. We had boundaries.”
[Audience laughter]
MRS. JOHNSON:
What hurt me most was the fact this man is a lawyer. A whole attorney. Went to school all them years just to end up on the evening news with THIS attached to his résumé.
WOODROW H. SLIM:
See that’s why America exhausted now. Everybody out here talking about “networking” and “professional development.” Meanwhile somebody out here ruining both marriage and pet ownership simultaneously.
MRS. JOHNSON:
The crazy part is I installed them cameras because workers was coming in and out the house. I was worried about tools missing. Never thought I’d discover my husband was the actual security threat.
WOODROW H. SLIM:
Ma’am you thought you was monitoring contractors…
whole time you uncovered a criminal documentary.
MRS. JOHNSON:
Exactly.
WOODROW H. SLIM:
Now let me ask this carefully…
what was your first reaction after seeing the footage?
MRS. JOHNSON:
Honestly? Silence. Pure silence. I sat there staring at the screen thinking,
“Ain’t no way this man paid the mortgage in this house just to destroy my peace like this.”
Then Daisy looked directly into the camera like she wanted to file her own police report.
WOODROW H. SLIM:
That dog probably somewhere right now talking to other pets:
“Man I used to live a normal life.”
[Audience laughter]
MRS. JOHNSON:
I told investigators immediately. I said:
“That is my husband.
That is my dog.
And unfortunately that is my security camera footage.”
WOODROW H. SLIM:
Whew. Houston different.
Now social media been reacting all day. Folks online saying:
“This why dogs bark at certain people.”
MRS. JOHNSON:
Listen, Woodrow… people can joke all they want, but this situation tragic. Trust destroyed. Household destroyed. Even the dog personality changed.
WOODROW H. SLIM:
That dog probably looking at every human sideways now.
Daisy don’t even trust veterinarians no more.
[Audience laughter]
MRS. JOHNSON:
I just want peace now.
WOODROW H. SLIM:
And honestly, that’s understandable.
