THE INTERVIEW BEGINS
BLAZIN 420:
Roza, welcome to the platform. Your presence carries tremendous weight on both the creative and executive sides of the industry. How do you balance being an artist and a leader simultaneously?
ROZA FOX:
For me, those roles feed each other. The artistry fuels my heart, and the leadership fuels my purpose. When I’m creating music, I’m expressing truth. When I’m guiding a platform like The PlayBack Podcast, I’m protecting truth.
Both require intention, discipline, and integrity — and I refuse to operate without those values.
BLAZIN 420:
Your debut album Dead End made major waves — top 100 placements and “Da’ Real” reaching #3 on the Global Soul Charts. What did that moment represent for you?
ROZA FOX:
It was affirmation. Not just that the records were strong — but that authenticity still resonates. I created Dead End during a deeply reflective time in my life, and its global response showed me that people still want honesty, depth, and soul.
“Da’ Real” was more than a win; it became a responsibility. People expect realness from me — and I intend to keep delivering it.
BLAZIN 420:
You serve as Assistant Podcast Director for The PlayBack Podcast. What does that role require from you?
ROZA FOX:
Intentional leadership. The PlayBack brand is built on authenticity, storytelling, and cultural accountability.
My job is to maintain that standard.
I oversee strategy, quality, direction, and ensure every segment aligns with our mission.
Ultimately, my responsibility is to protect the integrity of the show — and the legacy we’re building.
BLAZIN 420:
You’re also a co-host. What do you feel you bring to the mic that sets you apart?
ROZA FOX:
Honesty. Humor. Humanity.
I don’t speak to impress — I speak to connect and challenge. Whether it’s a heavy topic, a deep dive, or a personal story, I show up fully as myself.
People relate to authenticity, and authenticity is all I know how to give.
BLAZIN 420:
You’re known for excellence grounded in integrity. How do you stay centered in an industry that can pull people away from their values?
ROZA FOX:
By remembering who I am — not who the industry wants me to be.
My principles come first. My moral compass comes first.
I don’t chase attention or politics; I chase purpose.
When you’re rooted in purpose, you don’t lose yourself.
BLAZIN 420:
Your peers describe you as brilliant, fearless, and intentional. Where does that strength come from?
ROZA FOX:
It comes from knowing my worth and refusing to negotiate it.
It comes from experiences that forced me to grow.
And it comes from understanding that talent without integrity is empty — and integrity without courage is useless.
Purpose guides my choices. Purpose fuels my voice.
BLAZIN 420:
What’s next for Roza Fox? New music? New leadership moves?
ROZA FOX:
All of it.
I’m working on new music that reflects who I’ve become — not just as an artist, but as a woman.
I’m expanding my work in production and vocal arrangement.
And for The PlayBack Podcast, I’m building new segments, new collaborations, and new layers of storytelling that will elevate our platform even higher.
I’m not here to simply participate in culture — I’m here to contribute to it.
