A: At my core, I’m a woman of faith, purpose, and intention. Mz Apple Dumplin represents confidence and warmth, but Twila is grounded, disciplined, and committed to growth—personally, professionally, and spiritually.
Q: You’re a co-host on The R&B Lounge. What do you bring to the show that’s uniquely you?
A: I bring balance—faith, real-life experience, and a grown-woman perspective. I’m here for honest conversations that don’t shy away from intimacy, accountability, or truth, especially for adults navigating love, life, and evolution.
Q: Your brand often centers on relationships. Why is that such an important focus for you?
A: Because relationships touch everything—how we love, how we lead, and how we heal. Healthy relationships don’t happen by accident; they’re built with intention, communication, and self-awareness.
Q: You’ve said, “sexy doesn’t fade, it evolves.” What does that mean to you?
A: It means confidence grows with experience. Sexy isn’t about age—it’s about self-knowledge, discipline, and owning who you are at every stage of life.
Q: How do you balance faith and passion without feeling conflicted?
A: I don’t see them as opposites. Faith gives me alignment with Christ, and passion gives me life. When both are rooted in purpose and respect, they complement each other beautifully.
Q: Outside of radio, you have an impressive professional background. How does that influence your media work?
A: Structure and accountability matter. My experience in IT, project management, and operations helps me show up prepared, intentional, and results-driven—on and off the mic.
Q: You’re also an entrepreneur and travel professional. What drives that side of you?
A: Freedom and experience. Travel opens perspective, and entrepreneurship allows me to create opportunities while serving others at the same time.

Q: What lesson did you have to learn the hard way?
A: That boundaries are not optional. They protect your peace, your purpose, and your future. I live by the motto of “never make someone a priority that’s only willing to make you an option,” and I try to keep negativity out of my life.

A: Alignment. Peace. Impact. If my life reflects my values and I’m helping others grow, that’s success to me.
